Shri Ganesha

Sometimes, when I meditate in silence I see your eyes.
They are large and full of compassion
and they watch me in sattvic love.
Their blue is deep and royal like the neck of Lord Shiva.
They appear in my attention like a pair of ageless lotuses
swimming in a pond of wisdom.
This vision is so quiet, so soft, and yet, so majestic
and when it dissolves it leaves a taste of comfort in my heart.
